30 Jan News from the Junior Captain
It has been great to see so many Juniors playing and practising at our home course throughout these holidays. All the hard work has been paying off and some very good scores are being achieved. Keep up the good work everyone! Don’t forget about the club’s awesome new mini golf course. Have a game with your friends and show them how good you are!

With the course being in such great condition, could I please remind all Juniors and Cadets to take out sand buckets with them when practising or playing out on the golf course. I have attached a link for you to see the correct way to repair a divot on the fairway or rough. It is the 2nd video in the link.

Please ensure you all have a divot repair tool with you and repair any divots you make on the greens. If you do not have a divot repair tool, they can be purchased at the pro-shop for a round a couple of dollars. Junior Pennants 2021
The Junior pennants season starts on 16 May 2021 and the final is on 27 of June 2021. Jim has told me that he has nominated 3 to 4 teams to play, it will just depend on how many nominate/qualify. Could you please email Jim at captain@maroochyrivergolfclub.com.au and let him know of your intention of playing. He will also need to know your shirt size.
