25 Feb Junior Competitions
I would like to congratulate three of our junior girls who have been invited to play in the Women’s Weekend Pennant Team. All three; Ionna Muir, Ellandi Findlay and Marley Habermann and their families have agreed to this new and exiting opportunity. It is just another example that our Club is aware of the needs to nurture Juniors and provide opportunities for them to grow and develop their golfing skills. This is a very exiting chance for them to gain Matchplay experience with ladies of different ages. I wish the girls good luck.
Reminder
Just a friendly reminder that phones should not be used while on the course, unless scoring on the miscore app.
Use of your phone during a competition can result in immediate disqualification. It also distracts you and your group from playing at their best.
Isuzu Queensland Open
The Isuzu Queensland Open is being held from the 11th – 14th of March at Pelican Waters Golf Club. If you have the chance, go and watch the players coming in on the eighteenth or follow a group around for a couple of holes with your friends or parents. Hi, Could I please remind all junior / cadet members to go into the pro shop and place an order for your club shirt? Alternatively you could let me know your shirt size and I will provide a list to the pro shop.
The introduction of a club shirt for all members was to create a uniform and professional image for our wonderful club, not only on our course but also when playing away/representing our club. I hope that the Juniors/Cadets could lead the way with this.
