01 May Rose Bowl Day
Our Rose Bowl Day was well supported with 144 players participating, including 7 Brisbane & District clubs represented. Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Debbie Constable, Sales Manager of Nutrimetics, plus a very successful raffle, the end result was a profit of over $2,000 to the Club.
Thanks to the assistance from my Committee and our “in house” staff, we continue to receive positive feedback from the participants.
The Winning Team from Noosa Springs was “Sensational Springs”, Rowena Faerch, Rosemary Randall, Dianne Hudson and Tracey Carter. The “Pelicans” team was Runner-up followed by the “Maleny Hikers” which included Maroochy River players, Christine West and Colette Pascoe. The individual winners were Division 1, Janice Olley with 37pts and Division 2, Denise Schilling with 39pts followed by Nettie Fox with 36pts.
