Walsh Consulting Engineers (formally Tate Professional Engineers) has operated on the Sunshine Coast since 1984. Justin Walsh joined the firm to oversee storm water drainage analysis and subdivisional design in 1994. After becoming a director in 1999, Justin became the Managing Director on the retirement of Rod Tate in 2004. The name of the firm was changed to Walsh Consulting Engineers in 2016.

The company is an employee owned mid-sized consulting practice with the majority of our employees having greater than 15 years experience in the industry. This level of staffing and experience allows the firm to service the most complex of projects whilst maintaining our commitment to innovative and personalised service.

Since its inception the company has designed and supervised the construction of many thousands of Residential and Commercial allotments and buildings.
