Driving Range Etiquette
With our driving range being so busy with members, visitors and the general public it is important we all do some things to make everyone’s experience of our range more enjoyable which will in turn help organise the chaos.
Driving Range Tee
The renovations at the driving range tee are progressing well. The grass tee at the driving range has been heavily scarified, top dressed, and fertilised. This renovation is taking advantage of the growing conditions and will help level the surface for you to enjoy once again. The synthetic tee will be used until it recovers enough which should be in about 5 or 6 weeks.
Around the Grounds
Green Staff had commenced monitoring the number and location of driving range balls coming to rest on the 9th fairway. During the process, Green Staff identified a large gap that is visible from the driving range tee that has no trees. This gap is also where a high percentage of golfers land their drives from the 9th tee which makes this a high risk area.
