Girls into Golf (GIG)

Girls into Golf (GIG) is now into its 11th year! GIG invites women of all ages – both passionate and curious about golf – to learn the game in a relaxed, female-friendly atmosphere under the close eye of Professional, Di Pavich.
Our goal has always been to create a pathway for women to learn the game and be confident to play socially or advance to joining a club, obtaining a handicap and joining in on competition play.
Our experienced mentors, Georgie and Rosemary guide you through the fundamentals of play with etiquette, basic rules and knowledge of the game.
Your GIG membership fee is a one off payment and includes a private 45 minute lesson. There is no commitment to attend every week – however, you must book.
We are always dependent on the weather, particularly at this time of the year. Should the weather be inclement, Di will make a decision one hour ahead of time. Where : Maroochy River Golf Club
Times : Every Saturday, Clinics at 2:00pm and 3:00pm
Duration: Clinics 1 hour, On Course 2 hours.
Cost : $45.00 one off membership fee (includes 45 minute private lesson with video analysis), then $30 per session either on the range or golf course.
