Current restrictions are in place until 15 April 2021. A quick overview of what these restrictions mean for our club is as follows:
The Annual Women’s Rose Bowl event was a huge success last Friday with 152 players from 20 Clubs all over South East Queensland enjoying the challenges and rewards of our Club.
Alexander Procopis with a score of 45 won the day with best overall score. In absolute perfect conditions, we had 129 players vying to be the inaugural Mal Robertson Champion. Robbo spent many years developing the juniors at Horton Park and it is so fitting that the best score and winner of the day belonged to a junior! Marley Habermann won the ladies event with a 39. I would like to thank Di, Robbo (jnr) and extended family for participating and being part of the celebration.
The course superintendent makes the decision regarding carts on course when he arrives at 5am daily and if necessary, it is reviewed again at 10am that same day.
As you are aware, rakes have been removed from the course. This came into being as a directive from Golf Australia since the Covid pandemic.
Maroochy River Golf Club is proud to announce a partnership with Ken Mills Toyota (KMT).
This Wednesday, 17 March is St Patricks Day, so don on your shamrocks and emerald green and join the celebrations at MRGC! In the spirit of the day, we will be coordinating a special Irish 4BBB Mixed Stableford – This is a team’s event, 3-4 players. All players will play single stableford (minimum 3 players).
The club has decided to change our checking in method from the current ‘Guest HQ’ QR Code to the ‘Check In Qld’ app.
