16 Mar Get Your Green On!
This Wednesday, 17 March is St Patricks Day, so don on your shamrocks and emerald green and join the celebrations at MRGC! In the spirit of the day, we will be coordinating a special Irish 4BBB Mixed Stableford – This is a team’s event, 3-4 players. All players will play single stableford (minimum 3 players).
Play and mark your scorecard/APP normally as you would in a single stableford event. The MiClub software will total all final scores in the background, recording the following: best stableford score per hole (Holes 1-6), best two stableford scores per hole (Holes 7-12) & best three stableford scores per hole (Holes 13-18).
NOTE: Scan your scorecard normally at the end of the round / submit your round via the APP and the MiClub software works out the scores.
Let’s make this a fun day and I am looking forward to seeing many of you come along dressed in your favourite or loudest GREEN St Patrick’s Day clothing. Hopefully someone out there can give the Cronan’s a run for their money. I have been told they have been sewing frantically for the big day.
In the spirit of the day, the Bar and Kitchen teams have some specials: Guinness / Kilkenny and a sturdy Guinness Pie and good old Irish Stew. To be sure to be sure, it shall be a great day!
