MRGC Course Renovations

MRGC Course Renovations

Following the course renovations, we have spread 12 tone of custom blend fertiliser over the fairways, tees, surrounds and rough. A little rain and some warmer overnight temperature will see all these areas pickup and the turf surfaces at Maroochy River return to normal. The greens are covering over well and with a few more dustings of sand will see them smooth out, firm up, and speed up.

We did get caught with a storm during the renovation which brought 41mm of rain and left the place in a bit of a mess. I thank you all for your patience in allowing us the Wednesday (an extra day) to keep the course closed giving us a bit of time to get it back playable for the Thursday.

You may have noticed some of the gardens starting to get a little more attention. This will involve trimming the Lomandra, spraying, and re-mulching the areas. The process to get around the entire course will be slow and involve planning and consultation with the Members Volunteer crew as to how far we progress each week.
