MRGC wet weather policy for carts on paths decisions –
The course superintendent makes the decision regarding this when he arrives at 5am daily and if necessary, it is reviewed again at 10am that same day.
There have been instances where we have received high volumes of rain on consecutive days, and when messages have been uploaded onto our website to advise members, the message from the previous day has been used without the actual date being changed. Some members believe the decisions are not being reviewed daily which I can advise is not the case. During wet weather periods, the course is reviewed daily as stated in my first paragraph.
In the instance that the Course Superintendent is not present to do the second assessment, the General Manager has the power to make the decision. The Pro Shop has been advised to update the date when posting member advice.
