Farewell Chef Jon

After 6 years as Head Chef, Jon has called it quits. Jon has worked as a chef for 26 years from New Zealand then to Perth and finally the Sunshine Coast, but he has decided there has to be something better than being in a hot kitchen all day.

He is looking forward to a new career (whatever that is) and more importantly spending more time with his wife Di. He may even manage to move the caravan that he bought 12 months ago which has sat in the same place he put it, the day he brought it home.

On behalf of Maroochy River Golf Club I thank Jon for all his hard work and wonderful meals he gave us. We wish Jon and Di a happy next instalment in their life and hopefully they come back and see us occasionally.  All the very best Jon, thank you for your service.
