09 Mar Garden Volunteers Needed
The mini golf is continuing to be a great success for the club. The lady garden volunteers (we would welcome any males who are green thumbs too) are very pleased to contribute to this success with the work and time given each Friday.
You will be pleased to know that we have asked management to enter the gardens into the Queensland Tourism awards.
We garden between the hours of 7.30 till 9.30 in the mini area and surrounds as well as in the front of the pro shop, 4th tee and now the indoor plants. Sometimes we meet at the maintenance shed on Finland Road to pot seedlings and propagate cuttings from the course.
BUT…. We always need help. Any time given is gratefully received, even if it only once. We usually meet near the mini golf area and go from there. Coffee and chat time is at 9.30.
