QGI AWARDS – Apprentice of the Year

QGI AWARDS – Apprentice of the Year

Last week the Queensland Golf Industry Awards were held on the Gold Coast. The club was up for a number of awards but unfortunately only bought home one. It was our Graduating Apprentice Daniel Fulcher that took out the Queensland Turf Management Apprentice of the year.

However, Daniel finished up with us on Monday 24 October and will be sorely missed as he embarks on his newly appointed position as 3IC at Elanora Country Club in NSW. This is just one display of his ambition and drive to make a difference and better himself within the trade. I have no doubt that this will to succeed in his future ambitions will see him achieve high results within the Turf industry.

Daniel has been a delight to work with – a reliable team player with a positive, can-do attitude that quickly became a real asset to Maroochy River Golf Club. He has represented the club and gained further experiences by volunteering for tournaments such as the Queensland Open and the Australian PGA Championship. I am certain he will do us proud in all his future endeavours.
