Maroochy River’s Senior Teams Challenge squad has had a very good start to this year’s series with 4 wins from 5 starts to lead Group 1 approaching the half way point of the 14 match round robin series.

Two wins at home was followed by two fantastic away wins at Indooroopilly and Royal Queensland. None of the team had played Royal Queensland previously which made that win particularly satisfying.

Heavy rain on 15 and 16 May led to the match at Virginia being washed out and rescheduled to 30 May. Unfortunately the team went down 4 matches to 2.

Upcoming matches in June are at home against Nudgee on 1 June, 9 June at Bribie Island, 15 June at Redcliffe and at home on 29 June against Indooroopilly.

The full squad is listed below and provides a very good mix of players to cover the singles scratch and handicap four ball games and provide coverage over the three-month long series.
