17 Apr Shared Equipment: Covid Restrictions Ease
Following the latest Queensland Government announcement, the current restrictions around outdoor sports were eased on 15 April 2021. Consequently, in relation to golf, while we are still required to follow a COVID safe plan, the section on shared equipment has been removed, therefore we can now start the process to allow flag sticks to be removed, rakes placed back in bunkers and NTP’s to be added to the prize list again.
While this is welcoming news, to ensure a smooth transition and suitable time for Ground Staff to prepare the course (bunkers) all current local rules that have been introduced through COVID will remain until Saturday 1 May.
