The Maroochy River Vets have just concluded the annual and successful Vets Cub Championship with the result being:
- A GRADE WINNER (Gross) Keith Horne Runner Up David Burton
- A GRADE WINNER (Nett) John Miller Runner Up Gordon Sutherland
- B GRADE WINNER M Whelan Runner Up J Castell
- C GRADE WINNER G Pengelly Runner Up L Barnard
There were very good fields in attendance and thank you to all who participated and I hope you enjoyed the course.
The AGM is just around the corner and we say Farewell to Val, Frank and Max from the Vets Committee. These men have served the Vets in a variety of positions over several years and I wish to thank them on your behalf for their service. So Thank You Very Much Gentlemen. I am happy to announce that we have had some interest from members to fill the vacancies.
Our breakup day is on the 14th of December. We will have a shotgun start and be playing a Fourball Multiply (this will test your relationship with your partner) and the AGM will follow. As we cannot have our usual sit down meal it was decided by the Committee to have a free game with a $5.00 voucher for you to spend on the day as you please.
