29 Mar Annual Women’s Rose Bowl
The Annual Women’s Rose Bowl event was a huge success last Friday with 152 players from 20 Clubs all over South East Queensland enjoying the challenges and rewards of our Club.
Splendid Springs team (from Noosa Springs) emerged as winners with a team aggregate of 142 Stableford points for the four players. A composite team formed by local member Jacqui Hohns with friends from Keppera and Caloundra took out second prize. Local Nutrimetics consultant Debbie Constable once again generously sponsored the day with prizes for the competition and a very successful raffle.
There have been many accolades for the course, food, prizes, atmosphere and professional conduct of the event. Huge and sincere thanks to all of those who contributed in any way. I must make special mention of John Sandow who offered his help and came out at daybreak (almost) to ensure players got off the first tee on time. It is especially rewarding when inter-gender support such as this is forthcoming.
Our next big day is our Open Day, sponsored by Living Choice, and scheduled for Friday 4th June.
