MRGC Men’s Open – Results

Congratulations to Trent Butlin (son of MRGC member Ray) who took out the Maroochy River Men’s Open on Sunday in a playoff with Headland’s Ben Duncombe after both shot even par 72 off the Black Tees. Heading down Hole 1 in light rain and rapidly failing light (following a significant storm delay), Ben’s tee shot unfortunately found the water left off the tee. He recovered to just miss a long putt for par. Trent hit his approach to the middle of the green, rolled his first putt 8 feet past, but made the comebacker for the win. Congratulations Trent!!

Congratulations also to MRGC members John Sandow & Chris Gerrard for taking out the B & C Grade titles.
