It is a player’s responsibility to be conversant with the Rules of Golf or know where to readily find an answer to a query.
Nowadays it is extremely easy and can be done very quickly and without fuss.
For those of you who are using the MiScore App, the Rules of Golf are already there .
If you open the Rules , then enter a question or a few words such as “ playing outside teeing area” and touch the magnifying glass , you will be taken within seconds to the relevant rule or rules. (see screenshot below).
I encourage everyone to install the R and A App on your devices and regularly” test “ yourself with a simple rule. There are illustrations and explanations and also various types of quiz and simple education exercises.
